Location and Facilities:140+ acre campus located on Stinson Lake, at the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. The school is small with a 1:4-6 teacher to student ratio and comfortable classrooms. Boarding students live family-style with boys in a large New England Cape and girls in an historic Victorian, under the supervision of house parents. House parents provide a structured home-like environment, meals, extracurricular activities, help with homework, and social and emotional support.

Additional Information:The Hunter School is modeled after Thom Hartmann's groundbreaking book, ADD-A Different Perception. The school builds upon the strengths of students with ADHD, and helps students recognize how those strengths can be used throughout their lives. Hunter School utilizes a differentiated learning model incorporating a variety of instructional methods including cooperative learning groups, hands-on activities, experiential learning, and individual instruction.
