| Location and Facilities: | The Tobey School is located on the Governor Hugh J. Gallen Office Park campus at 45 South Fruit Street, Concord. The program is housed in a large building that includes the residential dormitory, the academic classrooms, a small gym, a woodshop, and has access to various vocational internship sites on the campus. |
| Admissions Procedure: | Students are admitted to the Tobey following a pre-placement interview and review of completed application materials based upon the following criteria: 1) applicants must be phychiatrically stable at the time of admission, 2) applicants must have a current IEP that can be implemented by the teachers and support staff of the Tobey School, 3) applicant's placement teams must have determined that the applicant cannot be maintained in a less restrictive educational program. |
| Programs and Services: | Comprehensive special education services in a day and/or residential setting for students who are entitled to special education services. Services include academic and vocational education classes, a structured behavioral management program, individual and family therapy, group counseling, psychiatric consultation and nursing services, and 24/7 residential services. |
